We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to work within an established Buying team and a busy environment, centrally located at our Nottingham Head Office.
You will be part of a team who are vital to the functioning of the company. You will be responsible for supporting the Purchasing team to help expedite orders with Suppliers and providing proactive information to the sales team, ensuring that the company builds on its reputation in the marketplace. Below are some of the duties you will be responsible for:
- Liaising with Suppliers in expediting orders
- Maintain and update accurate due dates for delivery of product
- Working with the sales function to provide them with updates on order progress to allow customers to be informed
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure that suppliers have approved status prior to placement of orders
- Dispatch of stationery orders to stores
Hours: 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
